Most children already know how to use phones, tablets, games, and YouTube. This bootcamp helps them take one step further: learning how digital things are made.

The Kids Summer Tech & Coding Bootcamp is a completely virtual 4-5 week programme for children, starting July 27, 2026. Your child will join online sessions, learn beginner-friendly coding ideas, and build small tech projects they can show you.

What they will do

Children learn best when they can make something and see it work. So the bootcamp is built around guided practice, not long lectures.

They will learn the basics of coding, try simple challenges, and work on fun projects that make technology feel less mysterious. The aim is confidence: your child should finish with a better sense of how computers follow instructions, how ideas become projects, and how to keep trying when something does not work the first time.

Why parents like this format

It is online, so there is no travel, venue planning, or school-holiday logistics to juggle. Your child can join from home with the right device and internet access.

It is also beginner-friendly. You do not need to be technical to help them start, and they do not need previous coding experience to take part. Track guidance will be based on your child's current skill level.

What your child can expect

  • Live or interactive online learning sessions
  • Beginner-friendly coding instruction
  • Small tech projects and practice tasks
  • A focus on problem solving, patience, and creativity
  • Track guidance based on age, interest, and current skill level

Support for parents and guardians

When you register, you can also join TechWise Parents Circle.

It is a parent community for the questions that come up when children grow up around technology: screen time, AI, gaming, online safety, digital learning, and how to encourage a child without leaving them alone with the internet.
